About the DMS Partners Book Club:The DMS Partners Book Club meets monthly for dinner at the home of a club member. For extra ‘adventure’, dinner is usually prepared with the theme of the book in mind! (the book list below indicates what kind of cuisine we’ve explored in association which each book). The books are chosen together on a monthly basis, and range across all genres. As an example, our list of past books is shown below (after our ‘wish list’)
The “Loose” Guidelines for How We Choose Books
- No Hardcover
- 300 pages max length
- No Russian literature
- Nothing Oprah recommends
- No more local authors (don’t ask!)
- No Pulitzer Prize Winners
If the Amazon reviewers sound too literary, we skip that book…On average each meeting has about 6-8 participants, so we’re a nice, small discussion group.
